The smell, the sounds and the movement of the sea are a key inspiration to Marlene on her seascapes. Marlene does much of her painting from her home near Durban in South Africa and the sea is always a key theme and a passion for the artist.

You can feel the power and movement of her beautiful waves and you can almost feel the spray as a large wave crashes into the rocks or you can enjoy a tranquil sunset as the waves gently roll in towards the beach
