Orchestrator of Violence
This painting captures the terrifying reality and the raw emotion of protest. This artwork was in response to the Orlando Stadium protest in South Africa in June 1976 (during the Apartheid era). This particular day in South African history started as a peaceful protest but ended with violence and death and marked the start of theĀ Soweto Uprising.
