Chris never liked to sit still for long but agreed to pose in a quiet moment. Not a natural at portrait modelling but Marlene says that ‘grumpy face was always followed by the most wonderful smile imaginable’. This portrait was done while on a family Holiday in Umhlanga Rocks (South Africa). This was the family holiday destination every year and Chris always said that he wanted to retire in the area. His wish was realised 1995 when he moved to La Lucia, just a stones throw away.
As always, time has tried to heal the aching heart but this time, time has not succeeded.
The memories will live on forever in our minds and through Marlene’s Art.Clinton
